The Philadelphia animal control shelter (ACCT) is now OPEN FOR ADOPTIONS SEVEN DAY A WEEK!!!

The ACCT shelter is the region's LARGEST open admission, high volume shelter. It's a temporary home for hundreds of animals of all ages, breeds, and sizes.
In 2009 alone, more than 34,000 animals came through this shelter!
ADOPTION HOURS ARE:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Friday: 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
The ACCT shelter is located at 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue in Philadelphia, PA, 19140. It's convenient to Roosevelt Boulevard/US-1. There's safe, easy, and FREE parking in the ACCT parking lot!
